What is a macaron?

A macaron is a French delicacy consisting of almonds, egg whites, and sugar. If you are allergic to almonds, these macarons are not ideal for you.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We do offer delivery at an additional fee! Please provide us with the delivery address upon ordering so we can calculate the delivery fee.

Do you ship?

Yes! We do offer shipping! The cost for shipping varies on your location, so please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

Where are you located?

Fancy Flavors currently operates out of a commercial kitchen in San Jose, CA. We do not have a physical location, but we do offer pick up (in San Jose, CA) or delivery (for an additional fee)

You can also find our macarons at Flower Flour in San Jose.

Where is your bakery?

Our dream from the beginning was to open up a local bakery, and we are CLOSE! With your help and support, we will get there. Coming soon 2020!

What are your hours?

 

Since I don't have a storefront, I don't have a set range of hours but feel free to contact me from 12PM-6PM! I will get back to you as soon as possible!

What is the mystery box?

The mystery box is composed of macarons of different shapes and sizes. Some might be cracked, some might be perfect, but it's mystery! Although they may look imperfect, they still taste the same! Order these to get macarons at a discounted price. This is a good option for you if you don't know which flavors you would like or if this is your first order.

When can I get my order after placing it?

 

Generally, we will have an order ready for you within 3-5 business days. For larger orders or customized orders, we request 1-2 weeks notice, but contact us anyway and we can try and make it work!

How should I store my macarons?

If you plan to store it overnight, switch them to an airtight container and let them thaw at least 30 minutes before consuming them. If you plan to store them for over a week, move them to an airtight container and freeze them, and let them thaw for 1-2 hours before consumption.

How long do they last?

Not very long, because they better be in your stomach! But on a serious note, they will last up to 2 weeks if stored properly in the fridge, or 3 months in the freezer. Refer to the question above for questions on proper storage instructions!

HELP! I sent you an email/order request but I haven't heard back from you!

Since I am running my business solo, I do get a bit busy (especially at the end of the week). I try and get back to orders within 2-3 days, if not earlier. If you have not heard back from me, double check your spam folder! Sometimes my replies tend to be sent there.
